What makes the output accessible?
Equations become MathML rather than images, so a screen reader announces "x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of..." instead of skipping past a picture with no alt text. Sections become real <h1> and <h2> elements, so assistive tech can jump between them, and lists and tables keep their semantic markup. That structure is what screen reader users navigate by, and it is also what search engines read.
Why convert LaTeX to HTML?
A PDF is a fixed page. It does not reflow on a phone, it fights screen readers, and its equations are usually unreadable to assistive tech. HTML reflows to any screen, is indexable, and can be posted directly to a lab site, a course page, or a personal homepage. Many universities and publishers now require an accessible format alongside the PDF, and tagged HTML with MathML is the usual way to satisfy that.

Will the equations work with screen readers?
Yes. Equations convert to MathML, which VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS read aloud as spoken mathematics. Because MathML is text, readers can also copy equations or have them enlarged without the blurring you get from an image.
What happens to my figures?
Each \includegraphics reference becomes an <img> tag pointing at the original filename, so keep the image files next to the HTML when you publish it. The version in the app also lets you upload the images so they are embedded directly in the output.
Can I convert the other way, from HTML back to LaTeX?
Yes, use HTML to LaTeX for that direction.
Should I clean up my LaTeX first?
It helps. Removing unused packages and expanding custom macros before converting produces noticeably cleaner HTML, since the converter translates what standard LaTeX expresses. Diagram packages such as TikZ have no HTML equivalent and are skipped, so export those as images separately.
