Common questions
How does citation search differ from a keyword search?
Find Citations embeds the passage you paste and searches the arXiv corpus by meaning, so it surfaces papers that make the same argument even when they use different terminology. Results export as BibTeX.
Which reference formats can I generate BibTeX from?
DOIs via CrossRef, ISBNs via Open Library, PMIDs via NLM metadata, arXiv links, and ordinary paper or blog URLs parsed from the page. RIS exports from Zotero, Mendeley and EndNote convert as well.
Can I recover the source of a paper I only have as a PDF?
Yes. PDF to LaTeX reconstructs compilable source including equations and structure, and for anything on arXiv, arXiv to LaTeX fetches the author's original source archive directly.
Does it work with Typst?
Yes. Underleaf converts between LaTeX and Typst in both directions, so a Typst draft can still be submitted to a venue that requires LaTeX.
