AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence
Major AI conference covering all areas of artificial intelligence. Two-column format with specific style requirements.

About the AAAI Template
AAAI (Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence) is one of the oldest and most respected AI conferences. AAAI covers the full breadth of artificial intelligence including search, planning, knowledge representation, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, robotics, and multiagent systems.
AAI 2026 was held in Singapore (January 20–27, 2026). AAAI 2027 will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (February 16–23, 2027). Submission deadlines for AAAI 2027 are expected around July–August 2026 based on historical patterns.
The AAAI LaTeX template uses a two-column format with a 7-page limit for the main content, with separate unlimited pages for references. Authors must use the official AAAI style file and bibliography style from the author kit. The template includes specific formatting requirements that differ slightly from IEEE and ACM formats.
The conference has grown significantly in recent years, with thousands of submissions covering both theoretical foundations and practical applications of AI. The author kit is available as both a downloadable zip file and an Overleaf template.
