About the OSDI Template
OSDI (USENIX Symposium on Operating Systems Design and Implementation) is one of the most prestigious venues for systems research. Alongside SOSP, OSDI is considered the top conference for operating systems, distributed systems, and systems software research.
OSDI uses the USENIX LaTeX template, a two-column format with a 12-page limit for the main content, excluding references. The USENIX format is also used by NSDI, ATC, FAST, and other USENIX conferences. The template and formatting guidelines are available from the USENIX author resources page.
The conference covers a wide range of systems topics including operating systems, distributed systems, storage, networking, security, and increasingly, systems for machine learning. OSDI is held in even-numbered years, alternating with SOSP which is held in odd-numbered years.
