About the SOSP Template
SOSP (ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles) is widely considered the most prestigious conference in systems research. Starting in 2024, SOSP transitioned from a biennial to an annual conference, giving researchers more frequent opportunities to publish.
SOSP 2026 (32nd edition) will be held at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague, Czechia (September 29–30, 2026).
SOSP uses the ACM acmart template with the sigconf option, producing the standard two-column ACM conference format. The page limit is typically 12 pages excluding references, which is generous compared to many other venues and reflects the depth of systems research papers.
