What does AoE mean for a deadline?
AoE stands for Anywhere on Earth (UTC-12). A deadline of September 25 AoE means you can still submit as long as it is September 25 somewhere on the planet - the deadline passes at 12:00 noon UTC on September 26. The countdowns on this page are computed against that exact instant.
Where do these deadlines come from?
Every date is taken from the conference's official call for papers and verified by hand - nothing is scraped or guessed. When a CFP does not state a timezone, the countdown assumes end of day AoE and says so under the timer, so always confirm against the official page before a last-minute submission.
Can I put a countdown on my lab page or course site?
Yes. Every countdown has a copyable iframe embed with a live ticking timer, plus a lightweight badge image for GitHub READMEs and Notion pages that shows the days remaining and refreshes itself hourly.
My conference is missing. Can it be added?
The list covers confirmed upcoming deadlines for major venues, and grows as new calls for papers are announced. If a conference you care about has a confirmed deadline that is missing, let us know through the support page and it will be added.
