A publications page that maintains itself
Most academic homepages share the same weak spot: a hand-edited publications list that trails reality by a paper or two. This generator rebuilds yours in seconds. Search your name to pull every indexed paper from OpenAlex, or paste the BibTeX you already keep, then copy one self-contained block of HTML into your personal page, lab site, or department profile. Add the optional scholar card and your citation stats update themselves daily, even while the list stays put. Pair it with the Erdős number calculator for the card's Erdős badge, or grab a LaTeX CV template to match.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a publications page for my academic website?
Search your name or ORCID iD above, or paste your BibTeX file. The generator formats every paper into a clean, grouped-by-year list and hands you a single block of HTML. Paste it into your personal page, lab site, or university profile - it is self-contained, so it works anywhere HTML does, with no scripts or external stylesheets.
Where does the publication data come from?
The search option pulls your papers from OpenAlex, the open scholarly index, including titles, coauthors, venues, years, and DOI links. If you prefer full control, paste your own BibTeX and nothing is fetched at all - parsing happens entirely in your browser.
Do the BibTeX buttons on the generated page need JavaScript?
No. Each paper's citation is wrapped in a native HTML details element, so the BibTeX for every paper can be expanded and copied on any site with zero scripts.
What is the scholar card at the top?
An optional live image showing your citations, h-index, and publication count, updated daily from OpenAlex. Your stats stay current without touching the page again.
Can I edit the list after generating it?
Yes - the output is plain HTML, so you can reorder papers, bold your name in author lists, or delete entries in any editor. Regenerating later gives you a fresh list that includes new papers.
