Find sources without leaving your paper
Underleaf's AI citation finder searches arXiv semantically from a paragraph of your draft, returning relevant papers with BibTeX ready to paste.
From PMID to BibTeX in one step
Every PubMed record has a numeric identifier (PMID) that links to the article's full NLM metadata. This tool calls the NCBI E-utilities API, extracts authors, title, journal, year, volume, issue, and pages, and assembles a BibTeX @article entry, including DOI when present. The result is ready to paste into a Vancouver- or AMA-style bibliography.
For papers indexed in PubMed Central (PMC) with open-access full text, the BibTeX output also captures the PMC URL, useful if you want your reviewers to be able to read the paper without paywalls.
For clinical researchers and systematic reviewers
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses cite dozens to hundreds of PubMed records. Instead of exporting a long PubMed save-list to RIS and converting, Underleaf ingests a list of PMIDs directly and produces a deduplicated .bib file ready for Vancouver or AMA rendering.
