About the ICRA Template

ICRA (IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. It covers all aspects of robotics and automation including manipulation, locomotion, perception, planning, control, and human-robot interaction.

ICRA 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria (June 1–5, 2026).

ICRA uses the standard IEEE conference template (IEEEtran class) with an 8-page limit including references. The two-column format is identical to other IEEE conferences, making it familiar to authors who have published in IEEE venues. Supplementary materials such as videos are encouraged.

As the largest robotics conference, ICRA attracts thousands of submissions annually. The conference includes paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, and robot competitions. Authors who have formatted papers for any other IEEE conference can use the same template with minimal changes.
