About the NAACL Template
NAACL (North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics) is one of the three major regional ACL chapters, alongside EACL (European) and AACL (Asian). NAACL-HLT covers the full spectrum of NLP and human language technology research.
NAACL 2026 was held in Toronto, Canada (June 8–13, 2026). The next edition has not been announced; all submissions go through ACL Rolling Review (ARR).
NAACL uses the standard ACL style files and formatting requirements. The two-column LaTeX template supports long papers (8 pages) and short papers (4 pages) with unlimited references. Like all *ACL conferences, the Limitations section is mandatory.
The conference alternates between various North American cities and has grown significantly in recent years, reflecting the rapid expansion of NLP research driven by large language models and transformer architectures.
